Diner Booths

There are a lot of different types of diner furniture available.  This not only includes diner booths but it also includes bar stools and tables too.  In a diner it is important for the diner booths to accommodate as many as 5 or 6 people.  It is also important for diner booths to be comfortable as well.

Creating A Good Balance Of Seating In Your Restaurant

Whenever you are creating diner seating, you don’t simply want to try and place as many tables in a room as possible.  Instead, you want to make sure that your customers are comfortable and that it is easy for everyone to get around.  You will find that many people do have distinct seating preferences and will thus request a diner booth from you.  If it is possible, you should grant them their diner booth in an area where they would like to be seated (i.e. near a window, in the nonsmoking section, etc.).

Making Sure Your Customers Are Comfortable

Whenever a family comes into your diner, you want to make sure that their experience is just as pleasant as everyone else’s.  You will not only want to make sure that they can be seated at a diner booth but that they can have a high chair or a booster seat if their child needs it.  Make sure that your diner booths allow for such seating arrangements while also allowing your server to be able to do a good job at the same time.  Another thing that you will want to take into consideration with families who desire a diner booth is that its upholstery should be able to be easily cleaned.

How To Arrange Diner Booths

Once you know how you would like your overall dining space to be set up, you will want to think about how you want your diner booths and tables to be arranged within this space.   A great way to get started is by drawing this out on paper but you will still need to remember that you have to pull the chairs out in order to seat people comfortably.  This is just one of the many variables that you must deal with in regard to table arrangements.  You will also have to take into account such items as columns, doorways and other architectural features (i.e. walls).  Furthermore, even when you have a full dining room, you have to remember that not all of your seats will be full.  For instance, you may have a party of 2 seated at a table that could seat 4.  Of course, some of these “obstacles” can be overcome by using diner booths.
