Restaurant Booth: – Find the Quality of Used Restaurant Booths

Restaurant booths are very common in almost all restaurant establishments. Many people prefer sitting in booths rather than at a table with chairs. Booths are generally known to be more relaxing than a wooden or metal chair. Booths come in many different sizes and colors, it just all depends on what you need.

Some of the standard style booths can be purchased for as little as $150. A standard sized booth will be single-sided and will be 43 inches long by 23 inches deep. Most booths will weigh around 80 to 90 pounds and come with a one-year manufacturers warranty. Booths can come in many different shapes that include single-sided, double-sided, half round, three-quarter round, L-shaped, and banquet. The most common booths you see are usually half round for booths that go in the corner and single and double-sided booths that are up against the wall and are usually back to back with a table in the middle.

There are three main overall fights that you can order your booths in. They are 36 inches, 42 inches and 48 inches in height. Most seat heights are 18 inches off the ground, no matter what the overall height of the booth is. The vinyl on the booths, including the seat and the back, can be the same color or different colors. There are more colors available for purchase then you will want to look at. Some examples of different colors available are: Snow White, superwide, Adobe White, alabaster, rose, grade, sand, peach, blush, tomato, yellow, red, oak, Marina, Blue Ridge, Ocean Grey, olive green, Irish Spring, aqua green, teal, black, dark aqua, light brown, and/or dark brown. These are just a few of the literally hundreds of different choices of colors you can choose a restaurant booths.

Some booths have just a flat back, while others have two, three, four or more different sections for people to sit back on. This styles that you can choose for your booths are endless. You can spend as little as $150 on the booth or as much as 250, it all just depends on how fancy, elaborate, and stylish you want your restaurant booths to be. You should also consider looking for used restaurant booths. These can save you lots of money, but you will most likely have to go pick them up yourself if they are still in a restaurant that has closed down. It is worth renting a U-Haul truck and picking up the restaurant booths yourself if you can save as much as 40 to 60% off of what you would have paid for new booths.

Restaurant booths come in many different designs, colors, and shapes. You can purchase seating booths for indoor and outdoor use with different fabrics and finishes. Depending on the location of the restaurant booths in your establishment, will determine whether you need a heavy vinyl finish with standard wood or not.

Solid wood is the best way to purchase, with the wood top and side trim having a smooth finish, especially around the circular edges of the table. A few things to keep in mind when looking at different styles of commercial restaurant booths are;

  • U-shaped banquettes and circular booths are available in wall booths – these are very important for all banquets and corner booths – Big families love to sit in the corner of restaurants at these tables.
  • Heavy vinyl base molding makes for a strong and sturdy booth that will last for many years
  • Oak and maple are two great options of wood you can choose from for the outer edges of booths
  • Purchasing booths with a headroll are a great option that provide extra comfort while eating

When it comes to the actual sitting portion of the circular booths and regular booths, a few things to keep in mind when considering spring or foam seats are;

  • Make sure you purchase a removable spring seat with a nice foam padded seat cushion
  • The foam seat and foam padded backrest are two reasons customers love to sit at booths
  • Wall bench booths are also available – many customers love these because of the privacy they offer being in a corner

Don’t forget about the trim and crumb catcher that is available from keeping all crumbs out of the inside of the foam seats. These crumb catchers save your staff a lot of  time when cleaning in the evening after closing the restaurant.

The most important thing to consider when it comes to the fabrics & finishes of the furniture is to make sure all the removable foam padded seat and backrest’s do NOT have tears and tips.

As far as the rest of the bar stools, tables and chairs in the restaurant, these don’t have to be foam and padded, like the booths. You won’t have to worry about them tearing as easily.
